A BRIEF NOTE ON SOCIOLOGICAL THEORIES

Phenomenology

The term is derived from Greek word 'phainomenon' which mean 'appear' and 'logos' mean 'to study'. The phenomenology is a philosophical study of structure and consciousness which derived its essence from philosophy. The early year Edmund Husserl used this term, and this term doesn't hold clear cut evidence or proof that many can talk about. It lacks its thematic focus and it is not a doctrine or philosophical school rather it is just a style of thoughts or a methods. Therefore anybody can openly with their experience tell different ways and it result different things to different people. For Husserl it is a systematic study of structure and consciousness, and the phenomena that appear in acts of consciousness.

Ethnomethodology

The Ethnomethodology is a method of sociological analysis that examines how individuals use everyday conversation to construct a common-sense view of the world.
